Plaid with Gus. Coffee Disasters. Jee's Debut. Big Hopia

Who wore it better? Hahaha. I think it was actually my first time to wear plaid last Wednesday, and guess who decided to wear the same thing? Gus Bus! Lookie here, I just had to ask Isha to take our picture.

Pardon my weird face, I don't remember what I was trying to do, haha. While we were looking at the photo during our break from Historiography class..

Gus: I'm so big
Jess: No, I'm just short
Dr. Mesquida: Gus is just tall, and Jessica is just... not very tall

Hmm, problem solved!

I've had my share of coffee disasters for two straight days. First one was a Thursday, while I was grinding coffee. Let's just say that I was unable to secure the lock of one of the objects of our coffee grinder (the one that ground the coffee beans), so I made a bit of a mess, because it was not ground the way it was supposed to be... ground. Took me longer than the usual, but in the end, the coffee beans were grounded...hurray o_O

Second was a Friday... Yeah, the next day. No need to grind coffee anymore, since I did that yesterday, ahaa. So I had brunch, then brewed coffee after, and decided to just have a relaxing late morning. So I got my coffee, and went online. Sip sip sip. I was halfway done I think, then... I guess I lost it. My coffee spilled. Well, good thing it wasn't on the same table as my laptop. But there it goes...lalalala.

That bummed me out, so I didn't want to tell anyone about the mess, coz it was so stupid. So I got some sheets of scratch paper, to dry the coffee puddle on the floor. Then I decided to throw the scratch papers in the rubbish bin in our garage. When I went out, I saw that my dog peed? (or I think she puked) on our marble floor. I told her, "So... You made a mess huh? Well me too, I'll clean that up, after I clean up mine, haha." So I went back to our living room, and decided to just tell Ate Rhoda, our helper, about it, so that I could get the mop.

Jess: Ate Rhoda, may mop ka ba jan? pwedeng pahiram? (Ate Rhoda, do you have a mop there? may I borrow?)
Ate Rhoda: Meron... Pero ako nalang jan, Jess (There is... But I can take care of that, Jess)

So I was like, okay, then later I realized that she meant Sprinkles' mess, and not mine. Apparently she didn't notice the mess I made, so... I still ended up cleaning mine, hahaha.

Realizations? Let's see...
first coffee disaster: "it's times like these that I feel like I'm not meant to be a housewife"
second coffee disaster: "...huhu, I just want my coffee".

I ended the weekday by going to one of my disciple's 18th birthday, Jee Lee! It was a surprise party, so it was adorable seeing how she was moved by all her friends and family being there. Thank you Jasper for the invite, and Chuckie for keeping me company (I just saw him by the ledge, after my class, and asked him to come with me, haha). Of course, Dae was at the party too, so I got to see him before he left for Singapore (then back to Korea).

One last thing, because my brother and I took a picture of it. That same night, my dad came home from a dinner at this Chinese restaurant to celebrate the Moon Cake Festival with his friends, and he brought home this...

Big hopia. He said he won it from this game of dice, hahaha.

Anyway, I'm off. Cheers.
