Batgirl New 52 issues 1-5 highlights

Hahaha, yeah, I'm probably too invested in the comic book. Or maybe that's not even the right term, because none of the Batgirl comics I've been reading are mine... They're all just borrowed from my dear friend, Sean Andrew. I told him that he'll have to let me buy the next ones, so that I can somehow contribute to the comic society.

I've been wanting to share some of my highlights in the comics for quite a while, but haven't had the time to put it here. Since I just finished reading 6-9 this week, I'll just put them in my next blog... So here are some of my personal highlights from issues 1-5...

1. It's Barbara agaiiiin! I think this is what got me into it in the first place, the fact that they allowed Oracle to get back on her legs. Then they would show moments when she would freeze and go back to that horrific night when the Joker went to her place, and shot her...

2. I wanted to upload the photo I took from the comic, but it didn't look so nice, so I just decided to get the pages online. Here's a line from Batgirl, as she was beating up Mirror...

"You wanted to impose your beliefs on the universe, Agent Mills (Mirror). You hated surviving. Your 'miracle' seemed like being mocked by God.... We live in Gotham City Mirror. Sometimes extraordinary things happen to the very worst people, and the best people suffer. And sometimes, people get their miracles whether they deserve them or not."

3. Scenes with Nightwing. I thought this part was rather cute. When they were battling out, because Barbara wanted to prove herself that she could fight again. Photos that I did not acknowledge, were scanned by me, haha...

 BOOM... Doesn't that just hit the spot? Sure did for me, hahaha....

So far so good, I've been liking it. And that's all I really want to blog about. Cheers to Gail Simone.
But hey, in support of the New 52, I did buy volume 1 of Wonder Woman. So we'll see how that goes...
