Graduation and Grad Gifts June 2, 2012

... I've been wanting to post about my graduation for quite a while, but I've been putting it off, so here goes...

I didn't really dream this far. No kidding. When I got home from New Zealand, I didn't even want to go back to school. In fact, I went to university simply out of obedience to my parents, haha... But in the long run, I ended up liking it, perhaps even loving it. The whole idea was to just get a course that I'm interested in, so I got UA&P's Humanities program. Next thing I knew, I started entertaining the idea of teaching... And now... I know for sure, I'll be taking my master's soon.... Pretty soon.

our only batch picture during the ceremony. Thanks to Lesley Choa, for editing the photo.
I really enjoyed my graduation ceremony. It was simple, quick, and the speakers were entertaining. And of course, as always, our school president, Dr. Mariano, stole the show.

Photo taken from Lesley's photo album on Facebook. This was taken during our last Foundations of the Humanities class taught by Dr. Mariano. Oh how my mind was blown every Friday night, haha...
Speaking of Dr. Mariano, since he was the one giving out the diplomas, we got to talk really quick while I was on stage....

Dr. Mariano: (while handing my diploma) Oh, I thought you were going to be my student next school year (referring to me taking my master's in UA&P).
Me: (saluting to him... yeah, I saluted, haha)... I'll be back...

With mah guuuurl bug, Isha De Vera... Pretty much my Hum sister
with the rest of the cupcakes - Nic Mill and my soulmate Jade Sison

Don't worry, I won't dabble any longer. It has been more than a month since I graduated. Just want to share some pictures from the ceremony, and some gifts that I got, haha...

First are photos of my special guests, haha...
