GREAT food. My personal favorite would be the Conti's Baked Salmon that Thione brought, Tita Lin's Lamb Kaldereta, and the marshmallow chocolate cake brought by Tita Marlene...
Meeting Isay's Tyrone. His name's actually Tysone, but I just want to call him Tyrone for fun. My cousin, Isay brought her boyfriend with her, so I guess we got to grill him for a bit, hahaha.

Seeing Kuya Ivan's kiddies. Aaaw man, his children are so adorable. I have the cutest nephews and niece. They are somehow related to me right? Coz they're my cousin's kids? Haha. I'm really not fond of children, but I guess when they're somehow related to you, you just have a soft spot for them. I have to admit, it was really fun having little kids running around the house again. They were pretty well-behaved actually. They're mum, Abby Pimentel begs to differ, but I think they were okay, haha.
Kuya pulls an "Andy". Kuya gave away some of his old toys to Kuya Ivan's kiddies. I was getting all emotional as he was telling Cyril how the Power Ranger robot works. Oh my heart, he just pulled an Andy (Toy Story 3, haha).

Seeing almost everyone again. It's just really been a while :)
Wish I had a better camera for this photo :( |
Watching New Year's Eve. After everyone left, we (Orleans and Macasinags) decided to go to Galleria to watch New Year's Eve. I had low expectations for this movie, because I didn't like Valentines Day. But this one was actually sweet. It was a nice feel-good movie. The only couple that I did not like was Josh Duhamel and Sarah Jessica Parker. Ugh, puhleeez, Sarah Jessica Parker is just not gorgeous enough for Josh, and a bit too old. Now I know there's another couple, like Zac Efron and Michelle Pfieffer, but they just worked (don't want to spoil it, haha). That's all, really, Josh should have been paired up with someone more...gorgeous, sorry Jessica, haha.
Abby told us to get a photo together, coz we were somehow color coordinated, haha |
For the 25th, we had an early start. We attended the Christmas service in GCF. Then kuya, dad, and I had lunch at Yaki Mix. Around after lunch, we head home to take a nice long... nap, haha. At night time, we met up with the Macasinags visit Tio Cardito and his family. Tio Cardito would be my mum's uncle, her dad's brother-in- law. It's only Tio Cardito and his children, and his children's children now, because Tia Nora/Lola Nora (my mum's dad's sister) is no longer around. As you can see, our relation is a bit far off, but family's family either way, this is something we have been doing... Something mum has been doing ever since. I guess we can say that this is our tradition :)

We left Tio Cardito's place at around 10pm, so we looked for a place where we could have a few snacks. Isay's Tyrone decided to join us that night, so we picked him up somewhere in Morato. We all ended up in Bubble Tea Wilson, since it was open until 1am. JCC Roasted Milk Tea for the win :)
And that's how my Christmas weekend went. Sweet and simple. Merry Christmas folks.
